Scot Nielson
About me
I am a statistician and programmer passionate about solving problems using data, tech, and design.
I'm majoring in Statistics with an emphasis in Data Science and minors in Computer Science and Design Thinking at BYU-Provo. I've lived in Ohio, Utah, Kansas, and Chile, among other places. I like playing chess and racquetball, and I'm always taking on new challenges.
At the moment my projects include building a website for BYU at STEM.byu.edu, programming scripts for an analytics company in Ireland, studying the podcasting industry from a statistical perspective, and building applications to research and fight spam.
My first name is Theodore but I go by Scot. I'd love for you to say hi or even send podcast suggestions!
